T his photo was taken before I set off for Vancouver, B.C. with a friend. We had a U-Haul with a car attached to it. It was a difficult journey, with many hangups, confusions, and odd happenings. But leaving Cleveland, which my family had settled in or near since leaving Lahore in the 1980s, was quite a drastic change. I feel it was needed though, as I being a grad student in Vancouver promises to be it's own journey.
