I n June 2012, we drove from Sayville, New York to Hanover, New Hampshire. We have driven this route quite a few times in the past. But this was a special trip, as we were attending my son’s graduation ceremony at Dartmouth College. The graduation ceremony itself was interesting, and the founder of Teach for America gave an inspirational speech. After a long day, we had to pack up our son’s belongings and clean his room, which was not a simple task. Here is a photo of my husband with our loaded van. The car was so packed that our son could not even ride with us! But that was OK, since he preferred to stay back and spend a few days with his friends before they started their summers.
