T his was a road trip undertaken by my friend Nat and me during our master's at Johns Hopkins in 2006-07. It was funded by my friend Nat's Fulbright scholarship to make a documentary on volunteerism post Katrina in New Orleans, but really just an excuse to explore the US landscape. I had a new digital camera that I loved and ended up having a memorable trip.
