L ike a lot of kids our age, my brother and I grew up on the PBS lineup, and we especially loved Sesame Street. We were so excited to go to Sesame Place. We drove to New Jersey, and spent the night in the Princeton area in a motel so we could get to the park first thing in the morning. When the morning came, so did rain and wind - so much that the park ended up closing for the day. Determined to get something out of the trip, my parents took us to the park anyway, took photos outside the front gates (that's me in the red jacket), and went back home, making a pit stop in Edison for lunch.
