W e rented a van and made a trip west to the Rockies. First we visited Glacier National Park. Very dismayed to see most of the Glaciers has disappeared due to global warming. Then we headed north, visited my nieces in Calgary. Based in Calgary we drove to Lake Louise and Moraine Lake. Fantastic scenery and great hiking. It was great drive which gave a feel for the great plains. Visiting relatives or the Rocky Mountains, not sure which was the greater attraction. Having 3 drivers made the drive easy. Videos kept the children entertained on some of the long drives.
